Community Standards

The Academy brings different creative practices into the same room. Participation depends on respectful collaboration, honest records and care for other people’s work.

Work and disagreement

Challenge ideas with reasons and evidence. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against or deliberately humiliate another participant. Respect accessibility needs, cultural differences and the agreed language and working schedule.

Honesty and attribution

Describe your own contribution accurately. Do not submit another person’s work as yours, fabricate evaluation results, misrepresent guests or sponsors, buy favourable assessments or manipulate audience evidence. Attribute collaborators and disclose material AI assistance where the task requires it.

Confidentiality and access

Use only the workspaces and materials assigned to your role. Do not share private links, recordings, login codes, participant details or unpublished research without authority. Obtain consent before recording a session or using a person’s image or voice.

Responsible participation

Follow the agreed production and physical-space procedures. Raise resource constraints and delays early. Automated tools and agents act within the team’s agreed permissions; a participant remains responsible for the actions they authorise.

Reporting and response

Report a concern through Support with enough information to understand the event. We restrict access to the report to those who need it, prohibit retaliation, and assess the matter fairly. Responses may include clarification, facilitated resolution, restricted access or termination of participation, proportionate to the facts. Affected people can request review of a material decision.
